A series of regional events organised by Da'watul Islam to promote peace within us, within our families, with our neighbours and the society we live in.
How can we achieve peace in our time?
How can we retain our identities and ethos without entering into conflict with others?
How do we address those man-made values which are causing us great suffering, despair and pain?
This event will focus on the everyday problems causing family and social breakdown. To address these we will draw on the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (saw): open a space or dialogue, peace and tolerance within us, foster better relationships and propose workable solutions.
Join us that we may all deserve the long awaited peace we yearn for in our lives.

These events will specifically:
Look into issues that create obstacles to peace within the family, with neighbours and the community at large.
Examine effective methods of bringing families and neighbours closer together through promoting dialogue and communication, and how these are the fundamental building blocks of peace.
Examine the responsibilities and duties placed on Muslims by Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to engage with neighbours, despite faith or background and the wisdom and reasoning behind this.
Discuss the effectiveness of current local and central government policies and initiatives that set out to create social cohesion, promote family values, and understanding and tolerance in society.
Examine the impact of materialism, economics, and the influence of global politics on establishing peace.
